Rev. Peggy White

Peggy was introduced to Unity of Richmond in 2004. She has rarely missed a Sunday since. After years of searching, she discovered a path that opened her heart to Spirit. Being a lifelong student, she immediately began taking courses to become a Licensed Unity Teacher. Upon completion of that program, she applied to the Unity Field Ministry Program and was ordained as a minister in March 2011.

She applies her skills from her experience as a career teacher and school administrator. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees are in teaching and educational supervision and administration. She did additional work through the doctoral program at the University of Virginia, which prepared her for part-time work as an educational consultant with the Virginia Department of Education after retirement.

Bringing these experiences and the wisdom gained in her roles as mother and grandmother, she joyfully served as Associate Minister of Unity of Richmond until her retirement in 2015. She has been involved with the ministry and its members as a teacher, speaker, past Chair of the Board, and prayer chaplain.  She continues on her spiritual path and shares that journey with the beloved congregants at Unity of Richmond.
